Working with us
We are unlike most accounting firms, and if you have a TPT business, you are going to love working with us! We understand TPT and set up the bookkeeping to optimize your taxes return(s) based on your situation. Have a look at the general process we go through when we start working together below:
You will have met Rachel from investigating our firm. She will continue to work with you by providing your Services Program so you know exactly what to expect and when to expect it.
The program outlines a timeline which includes information regarding who you will work with, how to contact your Account Manager, and when to expect All About Accounting to reach out to you.
In the initial advisory meeting with Emily, we will go over your current setup, discover the intricacies of your unique circumstance, and begin the process of implementing new standard operating procedures to set you up for success.
We strategically advise you on how to use QBO to suit your goals without over-complicating the process. We also take into consideration your tax entity classification and your legal structure to then help you implement a set of best practices moving forward.
Emily is an IRS licensed Enrolled Agent and also takes care of your business and personal taxes at year end.
In this meeting, Emily will evaluate your current set up and suggest changes so that you can take advantage of various tax strategies.
Some of our favorite tax-saving efforts include an entity analysis, the 14 day rental exclusion, and hiring your kids. A successfully implemented tax strategy relies heavily on good record keeping which is why we provide resources for you to utilize and monitor it’s use.
Your Account Manager will do any clean up bookkeeping work as well as tailor any of the applicable resources your business will utilize moving forward.
This may include creating your bookkeeping guide, recording tutorials using your actual set of books, as well as providing access to your mileage, home office, and estimated tax payment calculation spreadsheets.
Once fully set-up, you’ll be introduced to your Account Manager; Barbara or Isabella. They conduct the regular maintenance of your outsourced or oversight bookkeeping services and prepare your periodic Financial & Management reports.
Their standard bookkeeping process includes 26 predefined steps to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks so you can have confidence in your data and make better business decisions.

Bookkeeping vs. Taxes
Your bookkeeping is essentially your tax return. When you provide your financial statements to your once-a-year tax preparer, the responsibility to ensure that your bookkeeping is correct rests on your shoulders. This is why we are involved in our clients’ bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation so you have confidence that nothing is falling through the cracks.
